The Vikings

Early photos

As might be expected from a society which was founded in 1971, many of the earliest photos are in black and white and come from those who could afford a decent camera, or from press photographs which were then hunted down and acquired.  It helped that an early member was a photographer for a national newspaper, and could shoot spare rolls of film and have them processed at work.

All of these photos come from the personal collection of Pete Seymour, and in the main depict the society between 1973 and 1975.  After 1975, a small number feature members of what then became the Odin Guard, who continued to attend society events as guests for a few years.
