Dear Chris,
Scuse the work address, Don and I are in temporary accommodation and might have moved by the time you get an answer off.
Could you please let us know whether or not Don is a Jarl. We all assumed that the little leather banner you handed over at last year's winter Banquet meant he was, particularly since there was a general mumbling of "congrats on being made a Jarl", dead giveaway you'd think. Thing is the following Runestaff turned up with “Congratulations to Colin Owrid on being made up to Jarl” and deathly silence about Don. He's also missing from all the Jarls lists since and his membership card has him down as a drengr.
If he isn’t a Jarl what is the significance (if any) of the cute little leather banners, and what is the status (if any) of Vanaheim? Has Don been demoted for moving house and not taking Vanaheim with him, or was he never moted in the first place? Or was Black Bob just not paying attention at the banquet? Does any of it matter anyway?
Sorry to hassle you, but I tried Black Bob and Nigel, and they didn’t seem to know anything about it.
