BEWARE THE NORSEMEN: Viking raiders landed at The Waits in St Ives
on Saturday much to the consternation of the locals worried about the prospect of pillaging taking place.
It was all part of a two day Viking weekend where the emphasis was placed firmly on having fun. Combat training, market activities and a spectacular battle were all part of an event designed to show people in the 21st century what life was like for the Vikings and how they used to live.
